A little about me…

I love making and playing video games, writing D&D adventures, painting miniature models and being creative. I also used to be a professional podcaster (Don’t hold it against me)!

Narrative and storytelling.

I’ve been playing D&D since I was 12 years old. I’ve since moved to the other side of the table and become a Dungeon Master.

I’ve run multiple adventures for parties of 6 people or more. I really enjoy writing narratives, storylines and hooks for my player to enjoy. There’s nothing better than seeing your players faces when they encounter those twists and turns.

I’ve also spent a good 5-6 years as a podcaster working on the production side as well as the content and presentation. This means I’ve been behind the mic as well as writing for the content. Telling a good story is what I love to do, and I do it pretty well!

Video Games

I am obsessed with video games. Ever since I was a kid I’ve taken any opportunity I can to absorb games. From the Nintendo NES all the way up to a PS5 (and of course my trusty PC) I just cannot get enough of games.

I have an interest in games, not only from a players perspective but as a designer. In the past, I have created card games with a bunch of colleagues at Optus so I have a small amount of game design experience. With my D&D interests, I’ve also had some experience in narrative design and writing.

I am currently completing a Bachelors of Game Development at SAE Sydney.

Painting

I started painting miniature models when I was about 13 years old. I then quit for decades only to pick it back up at the age of 31.

I’ve been working consistently on my skills for the last 3 years. I’ve found painting has really helped my understanding of light, colour and form which has helped my design and storytelling greatly.
